“Hey, woah woah, I am with child.” He said, pointing to Reeve. “Tickling would be the worst idea ever, because it will excite me and when that happens I hug pianos. Hugging pianos would mean dropping this dear child and running to find one. Just saying.” Damian explained. “Now Reeve on the other hand is not do spastic. So, if you must tickle someone, tickle him.”

Damian put his best surprised face on when Reeve made his way over to him. “Well, hi there!” He smiled, picking the boy up in his arms. “Are we choosing sides now? Boys against girls?” Damian joked, kissing Reeve’s head. When Ryann poked Lindsay he instantly remembered Harmony’s little quirk. “That’s actually amazing. Must be a Lindsay thing.”

Damian watched Lindsay with the twins, smiling as he did. She was a natural with them, always knowing what they needed or wanted, never messing up. If it wasn’t obvious before that Lindsay was meant to be a mother it sure was now. “But, maybe try and find yourself a lad you’ll actually be able to understand.” He noted, looking at Ryann.

“Ryann, sweetie don’t cry.” Damian said, looking at the water works building in Ryann’s eyes. Seeing his sister upset was noticeably bothering Reeve, in an attempt to comfort his twin the boy crawled over and tugged at Ryann’s dress. “See? Even Reeve doesn’t want you to cry.” Damian smiled, watching the two. “That’s a good brother, right there. Taking care of his sister.”

“Well, of course I do. Anything for my little girl.” He smiled, watching Lindsay as she sat down on the floor. After a moment he joined her, sitting down by Reeve. “We should probably look into child proofing this place. With speedy Gonzales over here and Ryann fascinated by nearly everything in sight, it might be a good investment.”

“You know, me too. Let’s just hope he doesn’t start using Irish sayings or slang. The second he says ‘know a’ men?’ we’re taking him to a speech therapist.” Damian said, securing his arms around Lindsay and resting his chin on her shoulder. “Now Ryann I have no worries about. Waking up to her little voice calling for you is enough to put me in a good mood all day.”

Damian was glad to be off lately, thanks to the Glee hiatus. He wasn’t sure how much longer he’d have off, but was spending every waking second with Lindsay and the twins. “I know, it really feels like just yesterday we were holding them in the hospital.” He sighed, smiling at Ryann who seemed content with something she found on the floor.

Damian laughed, standing from the chair to set a sleepy Reeve down in his bed. “Alright, we’re good.” He grinned, walking to Lindsay’s side….

“Luckily, Harmony’s gonna be dropped off tonight and she can meet em’.” Damian smiled, bouncing lightly in place. “This is beyond exciting.”

“Did you ever think that in the year we’d known each other, that we’d end up married, and have two babies?” She asked, grinning from his clear excitement.

“Never. I mean, you know me, you know what I had planned. Now I see how easily things can change and how they can change for the better or worse. This was definitely for the better.” He smiled, her grin adding to the happiness in the moment.
